I thought I was done with my work, but its too plain? I think its vintage and classic, but its not good enough for anyone else. At least I'll be learning how to make an emblem or something. I don't mind learning how to do something else, or add something. I just don't like being told its okay and good, and then being told I need to change it for someone else's opinion no matter who that person is. I understand in the real world I am going to have to make changes all the time to go along with what my boss or patients want. I really do get that.
Lets see how it looks once its done. These two weeks have been fun and I am glad you are going to be my professor again this upcoming semester. I think it is on m/w/f days that I will be seeing you, If not then I guess I'll see you on tuesday. Have a fantastic weekend. (:

Thursday 17th
Today we are finishing our yearbook covers and I think designing phone covers once we are done. Since I am done with the yearbook cover I get to play around in photoshop and enjoy some fun time while using the skills I have aquired in this class. I'm using the knowledge I have in a practical hands on matter, and that is the way I like to learn.

Wednesday 16th
Today our professor was stuck in traffic. However, we were given directions of what to do by a friend of our professor. I was concerned that maybe a wreck had occurred, but I believe it was just major traffic. We are to continue working on the yearbook covers. I am trying to figure out how to tie it into a movie because honestly I dislike the idea of it being movie themed by my opinion does not really matter.
I want a better flowing font to use than the one I have, but at the same time I really, really love its simplicity.
I love it so much ahhhhhh. I love vintage everything. I hope mine is liked at least enough to be considered.

Tuesday 15th
Yesterday my computer suddenly restarted while I was working on an assignment and I had to recreate the entire thing. Oh well. Today we started working on yearbook covers. I really like the older look on yearbooks where they look leather bound and just have the year and school name. I like it simple and sweet. Hopefully people like my ideas. :/
I want it simple, not crazy. Make the background green, the spine and messy parts black, black text with the school name and the year. Done. Simple and sweet. I feel like it looks more professional that way, and it doesn't look just like my junior high yearbook that was picture after picture after picture on the cover.

Monday the 14th
Today in class we were given a new assignment. My group decided to use the matrix movie poster and I hope this goes well. We have until wednesday to finish it and I am starting to think this will be harder than I had originally thought it would be. I am rambling, sorry, uh, yeah. I have to rmember how to put a person underneath a layer, make its opacity to where I can see through it, align the face perfectly, anddddddddddddd then TADA movie poster with faces on it.

Friday the 11th.
Today we continued with the pictures and test. I made leslie whisper things. I really am enjoying this part of the week.
I started and finished leslie's whisper photo. I just need to put it into filezilla. I hope you enjoy it, because Leslie and I had fun coming up with things to say. :3
We started looking at move posters for the yearbook. I don't like about 90% of them. I much prefer older movies or musicals. My generation is so weird.

Thursday the 10th
We started class by looking at everyone's colorpop pages. I saw a lot of reaaaallllllllyyyyyy cool things on peoples pages, and I wish I knew how to do a couple of the things they did. I would much prefer to draw by hand than with a remote on a screen. It is still fairly foreign to me even though I have been doing things on a computer for a semester.
Today is about balance, and we're taking pictures. We are going to put text around them, and I hope this is something that really gets me inspired and ready to make something great. We got some really good photo's and I think this could be really awesome if I can figure out what to use. I swear I'm not obsessed with Leslie. He is just fun to photograph.............yeah.
Today I only got to do the one photo, but I hope we can continue with thsi tomorrow. I really enjoy it.

Wednesday the 9th
Today in class we looked at the high and low pictures. Then we learned about colorpop and began to create our own. By the end of class we all made a colorpop page for student life. I feel like mine looked kind of bad, but I really wasn't sure of what to put on the page. I wish I had had more inspiration to work.

Tuesday the 8th
Today in class we created a blog. We looked at different yearbook covers to get an individual idea of what might and might not interest us. We also discussed high key and low key. We get to use lights and cameras to set up the photo. I was in photojournalism and took pictures with three different lights and had to create the pose and so on. Low key is more-so dark than light, it is morose, depressing, beautiful, and simple. High key is peppy, cheery, and disgusting. I took some nice pictures I just hope I edit them well.
Monday the 7th
Today was the first day of class. We worked with a photo of a young female on Photoshop to help remove blemishes and give her more of a smooth complexion. We used zoom a lot, which we needed to see the smaller things to correct. We learned to touch up only a little instead of a heavy, unnatural touch-up. I know to work in a small area at a time and then as I make my way through the photo, the corrections I originally set out to make will occur.
